About Baratza Encore ESP Coffee Grinder
Introducing the new upgraded Baratza Encore ESP with performance improvements for both espresso grinding and a variety of other brewing methods. As an entry level espresso grinder the ESP includes an easy-to-use interface for at home baristas with a single press of a button. Unique at any price, the grinder devotes part of its grind settings to espresso and the remainder to other brewing styles from Drip to coarser French Press. This grinder is capable of replacing two separate grinders, each doing dedicated work. Such functionality assumes your needs for daily grinding are modest. The design spins off of the prior iteration of Baratza's most successful product, the Encore, but the ESP has more subdued and elegant branding notes.

The ESP name is a nod to its focus on "espresso". The settings of this grinder are completely updated and when using it for espresso half of its 40 grind settings, numbers 1 to 20 have micro adjustments that are dedicated to dialing in the perfect shot for your espresso machine. Numbers 21 to 40 are for coaser needs, from filter drip to French Press. It is easy to switch from one to another as your needs change.
The updated dosing cup allows users to easily transfer your espresso grounds directly into the portafilter mess free. Keeping the easy to clean system, the removable hopper and ring burr, 40mm cone burr has beenmade to hold in place with a new quick-release allowing users to maintain and clean easier than ever!
The new Baratza Encore ESP is equipped with a powerful high torque DC motor. The slow turning motors powers the burrs for longer, cooler, and quieter operations. Including an automatic reset and thermal cuttoff switch, users can reliably grind all day long.
The ESP in the name comes from "espresso" nodding to the updated settings that drastically restrict burr movement when dialing in espresso. The Encore ESP has up to 40 settings now split in two for versatility and durability, built strong enoughto handle each coarsness level ranging from espresso to pour-over drip coffee.#1-20 settings will get you luxurious espresso grinds while #21-40 are ready toquickly grind coarser grounds for filter or french press!
